hi chris again--- this is a little different story, last year while in leonora i found a large specie, about 10 cm in dia. i borrowed a dollie pot from a police officer from the leonora station and dollied up he rock. i have a mate who has an acetylene torch and he aggreed to melt it for me. well i went to one of the assay offices in town there and wanted to buy 6 or so crucibles and some pot ash or soda ash, so that we could smelt the gold -- well the people were very generous and provided me with my needs at no charge. while pakaging the items for me a young lady asked what i was going to do with it , and i told her . she said " well how do you find he gold ?" i told her with a metal detector, and asked if she wanted to see some. she said yes and i poured some nuggets out into her hand, well the only gold she ever sees i guess is what they get with there testing. several other employees gathered around and all were looking at the gold nuggets. well she put the nuggets into my hand and when i was putting the nuggets back into the plastic bottle one fell into the dust on the floor. i looked on the floor and could not see the nugget. the young lady said i'll find it for you, and started to run her hands through the dust . i told her that if she found the nugget that she could keep it, and left---don't know if she ever found it or not---hoss
