There are days when I would be just as productive swinging a home-made contraption made out of cardboard, or a a broom for that matter.

I swear there are some days when that detector doesn't seem to be working at all.

At least when you're playing golf and you get frustrated you can just throw the club as far as you want, and you still have a bagful of clubs left.

I tried throwing my SD2200d, forgetting that it was attached to the battery pack on my belt by that damn curly cord. Well it went about 20 feet until it reach the end of that cord then it snapped back hit me in the head and knocked me out. I woke up two days later and I still hadn't found any gold. And to add aggravation to injury, by that time the battery had gone dead.

So let this be a warning to all of you frustrated detectorists. Before throwing your SD2200d, be sure to disconnect the battery cable.

They out to make a warning label to that effect and stick it on the side of the detector. *:-)

Let's be careful Outback there and watch out for those UFD. (Unidentified Flying Detectors)
