Hi James, I went to a thrift store and found an old Samsonite suitcase (for $3.75) that works perfect for my SD. The case was 19" high so my 18" coil even fits, however, so I could keep the isolation rod on the coil I cut a 1" hole in a corner of the case so that it pokes out maybe 4". Looks like a gun barrell sticking out, so of course you'd want to break it all the way down if you were flying. (The 8" coil and rod lay perfectly in the case without cutting a hole)
