What a bunch of hard cases you are !. Some of these ideas sound as if they're far too bulky - I mean if Doc L put a big case in his Suzuki, there'd be no room left for him to drive it !.

The control box is the only part that needs protection when travelling so a neat little box for it is a good idea. You dont want to have to keep on assembling and disassembling the bits all the time.

To cap this off, as a pro I wouldnt want to be seen using a detector that looks like its never seen any action at the front line !. Its a tool, not an ornament, and as far as re-sale value is concerned I've never had a problem selling one of my very 2nd hand looking detectors. People seem to like the idea that my detectors have obviously had real success in real life, rather than being cuddled up in cotton wool since they were new.

Keep swinging, but watch out for those nasty rocks !.
