Hi Doc. This recommendation is not for any Gold Detectors as we don't sell them here in Fl. However, we have a couple of suggestionsfor the Excalibur.
1. The Yellow caps for the Control knobs fall out.
2. The Control knobs fall off in Shipment.
3. Put Ikelite Connectors (same type used for battery pod conn.) on the Control bok to change Headphones (Theirs are so-so).
4. Some form or Connector so the loops can be switched. (They are hard wired now)
This would stop the need to send these things to the Repair Center so often. We repair the broken loop cable now at our shop and ALWAYS have customers ask about changing the headphones. Thanks and hope to look you and Hoss up on our upcoming trip to the Gold Country, Harold and Ed---Scoopman
