Funny you should ask. I have been in contact with a gentleman in Portales,NM who has found numerous meteorites. He has written several books and was recently mentioned in the Smithsonian Magazine. He and I plan to get together shortly and see what works the best to detect meteorites. hoss and others have used the Minelab Gold detectors to find meteorites.
