hi jim ---yes i did a field test on one---i found 2or 3 small nuggets---bobbie my wife is using one, and has had pretty good success over the last 4 months. i think it is a little steep on the price---it is definately not an over priced 18000---=but it is definately not an sd either----your earlier post----i've found half a dozen or so meteorites---with the 2200---i don't think the 2000 is sencitive enough though---gone to gold basin see you in a week
