If they need "PROOF", let them look at there OWN maps and data. Why do you think that ALL the "essential salmon habitat" are in areas that have been heavly dredged? I think its pretty plain that salmon don't like to lay there eggs in clay and muddy silt covered streams, but prefer the nice clean rock beds that we so laboriously and at GREAT expence to ourselfs, have provided for them!

They have (and still do) pay people to create salmon egg laying areas (I know of several on Briggs creak here in Oregon thay they payed a bundle to build). We also are HARD at work creating a much better enviroment for them to lay there eggs in. All I am saying that we should be PAID for this.... I just don't know how much (yet).
