LRT'S BE CAREFUL OUT THERE AND BACK OF BOURKE

April 02, 1999 at 19:57:54

There will be two messages to this post.

The first from an e-mail I received today, and the second could possibly upset some folks; therefore I will scroll down four lines before beginning the second..

I had not heard from a prospector buddy of mine in several weeks, but gave it no thought as this is a busy time of year for him. Seems that a couple of weeks ago on Saturday he decided to go up and check his claims to see what goodies the winter storms may have brought him. On the way back to the truck he got caught in one of those Montana snowstorms that really come up quick. He was tired so sat down and waited it out, got back to the truck and went home. The following morning at church he had a heart attack, and the hospital was within a few blocks,so help was there shortly.Fortunately no heart damage although he did undergo surgery to place some stents in or around the heart. Probably lucky that the storm forced him to stop and sit or else he may have been an ice cube. TAKE YOUR PARTNERS WITH YOU. Remember that you are an asset to you family and to the reat of us here on the forum. Age, early 50's Second message below.

The only human remains found were in the man's boots.
