Great find Tom, remember though that many of the Comstock veins also carried a relatively high percentage of gold. The pieces may be more valuable than you think. The combination of silver and mercury may completely hide the gold, and you wouldn't know what you had unless you assayed it or cooked it off in nitric. regards! RC
