Mirl,

Thanks for the clear warning! I was thinking about using a metal detector, but now I'm not to big on that idea. I just can't imagine digging around in an old range, finding stuff that might end my happy days.

I do intend to check in with the post range control to ensure I'm not going into a live range or some other dumb dolt place I shouldn't be.

The place I'm going to is on the fringe of the post in a very remote area, but who knows? I've heard those old soldiers who were training dury WWII and Korea fired stuff all over the place.

I will poke about with my eyes wide open and leave behind anything that looks remotely suspicious.

Gold fever!
