Old miner's Flume!

April 15, 1999 at 12:50:03

While checking an old claim I came across a flume left by the old miners .They ran it from one side of ridge @ to the other side. They then washed out this large draw .Which is now covered w/ gravel. I am wondering if this was one way they were hydraulicing the mountain side .Their cabin is almost right at the base of this area they washed out. Give me some theory on what you think .Going back up there this weekend. Later, Taylor from Montana
