Hi Robert, nice knowing that you are alive and well! Personlly I think he should be able to promote such a venture, particularly through the net. If he markets it right he could even pull in some foreigners. Personally, I think it would be cuter than all get out to have 5 or 6 Japanese running about the claims, chattering and taking metric tons of photos (heh-heh). You'd have to provide some good food and such, but again, I think it would work IF you marketed it correctly. As you know, anything will sell if marketed right, and as your friends venture sounds like a quality product, I think it would fly. Look under "gold mining trips", and "gold mining expeditions" through Alta Vista and see what all pops up, and a lot of these offers seem to be in OR as well. Should help to give an idea of what to charge, etc. Of course, one serious consideration in this litigious age would be to carry proper liablity insurance. There are too many sissys and scumdogs out there who turn to a lawyer at the drop of a hat. Please keep us informed of your general overall mining venture this summer!!! Regards! RC
