Hi Steve,
Thanks for the comments!
I take it that you have'nt personally used the
"SUPERSOUND" yourself, is this correct?
Anyway curiosity got the better of me, and I
ordered the "Koss" unit today so I can see for
myself. The cheapest I could get one in Albany
was $60 Tax Ex at West Coast Hi-Fi.[Tandy]
Dick smiths was about $15 Tax Ex dearer.
I have a "SUPERSOUND" on my upgraded
"SD 2000" so I will be able to compare them.
One thing about the "Supersound" is it's direct
wired, so you don't have to worry about batteries.
It's strange when you pay so much for a detector
you then have to buy all these accessories to
get the best out of it! Seems it would be so much easier and simpler if they already had the necessary
extras built in. By the way another set of earphones
that might interest you guys is some that John Dyer
over east at Toronto N.S.W. sells. Don't know how
expensive they are now. Mine cost $60 couple of
years ago. They are very small, cool and light and
very very powerfull. They actually are V shaped and
fit up under you chin. They work extreamly well with
the "SUPERSOUND" Signal Enhancer and you only
need the volume turned up slightly. John Dyers

Sorry I can't tell what the phones are called[ Strangely
there's nothing written on them]
Thanks again to you and Greg for the Info.
Best wishes,
Marsh.
