I know that I always sound a bit negative when I (rarely) post on these regulatory matters. I'm not negative but, if I am anything, I am a scientist by both training and desire. Because of this I tend to try to lokk at, not what I want to happen, but what IS happening. You know I grew up in a small town in south Georgia. I arrived there when I was 8 yrs old.A guy about twice my size decided he was going to whip my ass every day at recess. He DID it. For two YEARS. I finally got enough smarts to tell myself, "self, You ain't never gonna live through this , much less beat him". You gotta have a different plan Or SOMTHING! Without going into long details, I did make a plan, I managed to get his backers on my side. Once I managed that, every time he whipped my ass, he lost friends. He just about ran out. After awhile there wasn't much advantage in stomping me. He didn't have a cheering section anymore.
The point to this diatribe is, we need a workable plan!
Fighting losing battles only gets you a lot of lumps and NEVER wins the fight.
We need organization and most of all, we need help from other more organized groups. How do you think NRA swings such a big stick? Just because a few guys decide to slug it out with the do-gooders/congress. Not on your life! Nuff for now,
KEN in cr
BTW, If you wait for the great cycle to complete itself , and everything to return to 1940, you better pay your life insurance up untill about 2078. We need some realism, not heroism.
