Hi Doc.....There's been a road up the Little San Domingo that has been cabled off with big signs saying things like "Stop, Private Claim" "Be Prepared to Turn Around" "Keep Out" and so forth...I noticed this week the cable is down....There is a bit of patented land up the wash from these signs...way up the wash, but all in the surrounding area is public land...I don't know for a fact, but it would appear that someone gave the signmaker the word...My understanding is you can only keep the public off an ACTIVE mine if there is a hazardous condition....otherwise, you can stop folks from mining, but not accessing....cheers, Ron
