Hi Lanny: Well I can envy you guys and then I cannot. Reason being in N.C. in tne Mountains NO MOSQUITOES, but we do get nuggets every now and then, plus color of one sort or another every trip. My home stream is only one hour away and I have not even dented it. But the real plus is the lack of insects.
Went out yesterday, forty degrees when I left,and also had a disk out in my lower back, but managed to get down to the stream with relative pain, for some sluicing. Each clean up produce our ellusive quarry, not in OZ's mind you but enough to put that cabin fever to rest. The hardest part was getting back out.
Will get the back disk put back in before going again, four inches of snow on the ground this morning. Wont even risk these icy mountain roads with the 4x4 to get to the docs for a adjustment.
