I guess I forgot to mention. Where I hunt the Gold Bugs, Garrets, Goldmasters won't even run--tried that and been there. The only ones that will run are the 2000 series Minelabs--so for me, the others that are proven by everyone else, that is a serious hunter, they won't work in the extreme mineralization at all--so what's the point? Kind of like trying to drill through masonry with a wood bit--lots of noise--but no results! The Minelabs will work in super-hot ground, and I have quite a collection of beautiful nuggets for my trouble.
