I could be mistaken here, but wasn't the other place called White Feather? That place was renamed Kanowna and was hardly a duffer. Look at Kanowna Belle now. My old hose in Kal was transported from Kanowna, like a lot of other early places in Kal. Anyway Kal never realy took off until the Boulder area (Golden Mile) was found. Good old Paddy found his stuff up near the top of Hannan Street and that played out pretty soon.
