Hi Doc,

Actually, "one of us" did go into your site the other night and read up on your articles, etc. Especially liked the one on "How not to get ripped off buying nuggets on eBay". My sentiments exactly after watching these ads on eBay for the past several months. Seems there are two or three "good" dealers there with very nice quality pieces, but for the most part, it's "hype as usual" over the little bits that look like boulders from the macro-photos. One gent in particular, Mr. John Shmyr out of Florida (sunshine41) has some really excellent Ausie pieces, and some HUGE ones at that. Also has a web site at www.ausnug.com with good images of some of his stuff......impressive ! I've been collecting nuggets myself for several years, just an extension of the detecting hobby to start, but it became a passion after awhile. Those nuggets are sure better looking than the same old bland refined gold coins you see everywhere. I guess "character" really is the spice of life.

And by the way, good articles ! I highly recommend them to everyone else interested in nuggets and detecting/prospecting.

Ralph
