How old are the roads? Do they predate the private property? Are they historic access to the public lands? The USFS just lost the lawsuit and have been directed by the Supreme Court to cease closing RS2477 (might have # wrong, but it means historic access, or pre-existing roads). You may have to file suit to get the road reopened. Also, there is a federal law that guarantees you access to public lands, Ask your local USFS or BLM for a copy of the document "obtaining a right of way on public lands" U.S. GPO 1996: 573-016/40510 - note this is for when you have a mining claim or other property right in the area. If not, then simply ask what route of access they are providing under current disability access laws, and what access they are providing per current discrimination laws, as they are refusing you access based on age and physical condition. (older age is now a physical disability... use it to gain access!)
Re: Nugget shooting, there are some places you can find little (under 5 grain) nuggets if you work your butt off (maybe one or two per day), better areas are over in SW Arizona or up in Nevada around the potholes or King Tut areas.
Got the new address! Any news on the light streaming?
