Stan,

First of all, this person is suggesting the Salmon has enough intelligence and emotional feeling that seeing another fish caught could rationalize that the other fish is about to be someone's dinner, which is total BS. For that person to indicate this, is saying he thinks you're stupid enough to believe it. But then again, now that I think about it, these folks are leaders in their field and they know much more about such things than we do, so they are probably right.

But what about all the Salmon that are snatched out of the water, ripped apart and eaten alive by the brown and black bear. This must be much more traumatic a sight for their fellow Salmon to witness. Damn it Stan, this is just too much for me to stand. To know that all them poor Salmon are being traumatized in such a fashion. I believe we should all write a letter to this person who informed you this, that he and his fellow leaders in their field should but a stop to that, immediately.

Stan, do you think the person who is stupid enough to think you believe what he told you.... is stupid enough to go and try to stop a bear from eating a Salmon? Maybe if he did we wouldn't this problem anymore. Cause maybe the bears would take care of it for us.

By the way did you know that when the spell check on my computer comes across the word Babbitt, it's suggested word replacemnt is rabid.
