Especially you folks that try your hardest not to hear hot rocks !!!! The LA meteorites are 2 pieces of martian meteorites that total 700 grams . I had the opportunity to swing my goldmaster over them and they were quite audible and sounded very much like your everyday ordinary hot rock . There has been quite a stir about these meteorites in the news latetly . They are the 13th known martian meteorite and only the second found on american soil .
