Hi Jess...Congrats on your retiring....now I'm assuming that as you're retired, and will have an income, you are not going to have to rely on the gold you find to live on....right? Right.

I like your choices of where to live. Baker City in the Summer....well, I don't think you could find a much nicer area. You've got that whole territory from the Snake River (Connor Creek, etc) clear to John Day (Canyon Creek, etc) and all the amazing places in between. Good choice. But why stay in Prescott in the Winter? Prescott's pretty, for sure, but it can get pretty cold too. Why not Wickenburg? There you have access to both lower digs in nasty weather and higher digs when there is a break. (Personally I like Yarnell). Nothing more than .02 opinions. I wish you the best. Jack
