These were old in the late 1800. One of the old ranchers wives said that her dad told her that they were there when he was a kid.

another thing is that there are "to many" old stories about spanish mining around the area. These could be a link to a lost or should I say desguised mine not far from the ovens/ smelter's/ furnaces.

There is a fair amount of slag in the ash pits, and there is what apears to be an old trail that is only visible from the air that goes from the furnaces back into the mountains.

Much more reaserch needs to be done on the area and much more need's to sampled and Assaying to do in my lab.
