I would like to get my husband a metal detector and have no clue! He is a spry 73 year old retired construction worker (rock crusher) with very bad hearing (High pitch deafness)and a limited income. He would like to search for coins, jewelry and Gold with one of the machines that shows him if it is nothing more than a bottle cap or can tab. We live in the heart of Idaho and are accuainted with placer and hard rock mining. In his youth he did some diving in the Main Salmon River in central Idaho 5 miles from our home. HELP, heneeds a pastime, he is driving me crazy, lol. Thanks ahead of time for any input.
