Hi Rick,

Run your sensitivity till it is very smooth(forget high sensitivity in trashy areas), proper ground balance the unit, sweep very slow and from different angles. In high trash areas you may want to hunt with your coil 2 to 3 inches off the ground to reduce the chattering affect of lots of targets. A small coil is a life saver in high trash areas(your good finds will increase with one). If you hit a hot spot, dig out the dirt and spread it over the ground(if possible) and this will spread out the targets for better target seperation.
