How long have they been making tape measures that wind up? My 17 year old son dug a CW period button and the part to wind up the tape almost together (about 4" apart).
It is brass, and has the handle that folds out to wind with. Looks pretty much the same as the one on the 50 foot tape I have and use. Inside the handle it is stamped "75FT". It has a flower pattern on the outside when the handle is folded down. There are no other markings on it.
