I went back to the same camp,in Stafford County,Virginia,where I found a bottle and New York cuff button on the 14th and had a nice find.Toward the end of the day after finding only a minnie and a rivet,I got a signal with my Nautilus in a hut site that had been dug out.The signal only sounded good in one direction,but I dug it anyway.At about a foot down,I finally found the target,a U.S.waist belt plate.It has puppy paw attachment hooks on the reverse.This is only my second plate,so I'm very pleased.I went back the next day(yesterday)and dug out the hut site.This time I recovered a couple eagle buttons,a few minnies and most of a pepper bottle.If the weather holds,I'll be going back again tomorrow.
