Chicken Eagle...

Found something in an old junk box the other day. It is a copper disk between a quarter & 1/2 dollar in size. It ha the "chicken" style eagle in full chicken spread, facing to its right, the word "PATENT" is on both left & right of the eagle, with the letters "WR" directly beneath the eagle. Nothing appears to be on the back. Any help as to whether this is a cool find or another scrap piece is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bobby
