XLT settings for NC and VA

HI I am going to North Carolina in a few weeks and will be relic hunting from Raleigh to souther VA. How is the mineralization in these areas. I'm use to having to hunt in heavy mineralized soil here in KY.

Any tips and settings for the xlt would be appreciated.
