Ease-up Joe, Digging a shell is really common,still. This past year I have seen as many as thirty different shells dug. My self> 1 10lb.Read,1 12lb Borman and 1 10lb.Hotchkiss,(Complete Shell). I was on the others also,from 6lb.solid to 36lb. Navies. A great year,most found in rivers at four to five feet in mud. steve@Wilson NC
