I agree... The term that is commonly used here in Northern Virginia is "Medical Minie balls". I know that I have found a few that do indeed have human teeth marks. It takes a closer look to determine if the marks are human or not. I posted an earlier message on this subject stating that because of the number that were found in a large area that most of them were probably chewed by animals (ie. Deer...etc.) The posting saying that they never used bullets for medical purposes is a farse...Mor often than not; supplies were unavailable and people used the most available means.
