Hi Rick, I agree that the DMC2B is a great machine,it's what I use most of the time here in Northern Virginia.Pinpointing is difficult with this machine.The only suggestion that I can offer is to pinpoint with it as you would any detector,make your sweep over the target as narrow as possible and slow down your sweep speed.Practice will make your pinpointing improve with time.A friend of mine says that his fellow hunters can always tell where he's hunted because the areas where he's dug are the size of trash can lids. This is all I can offer for advice.I hope it helps.Good hunting.Ron
