i have located an area that relics have been found the problem is they have been just stumbled over briefly. i know to look for old bricks an nails for signs of camp sites.this area is extremely large an i would like to here advice on how to find the main encampments. the main ridge is about 200 yards from a major river an twist an turns for quite a bit following the pattern of the river.since the ridge is about the same level on both side an has many bends all throughout where might i be expected to find main camps. would the camps be on the ridge nearest the river or on the opposite ridge or both? any help welcomed
