Hi Clyde,
Yes it happens!-- It seems just because someone stumbles on a place, they think they have exclusive rights to it. You think relic hunting is bad, wait untill you find a nice little nugget patch(nugget detecting) and watch the vultures descend. Guns have even been pulled to settle those disputes. GREED does funny things to a lot of people(too bad).
