Let's play devils advocate for a sec...You have had this site on your list for years but could never get permission from the landowner. Finally, it changes hands and the state is going to tear it up (or whomever). You get your chance to hunt!!! It is all you thought it was, and more. The next thing you know you have 1,2,3 or more people piling out of their cars to hunt. These guys have never done a day of research in their life, most definitely not on your site. But yet they walk in like its their site. Bad bad feeling...Maybe the solution is respect from everyone. If I see someone hunting a construction site I approach them and talk to them. If they express that they have know about this for years ...yada yada yada... then I will respect their work and leave. Or ask about hunting together, etc. No one "owns" any public construction site, but common courtesy really is lacking in this hobby from many people.
