Hey Stan,
Finals are over, finally!! I have not found anything exactly like that, however, many flat buttons of the 19th C. had geometric designs on them. Is there a backmark? Many times soldiers during the war wore flat buttons like this, but that does not make it CW either. Good luck and let me know more info. about it if you can.
