There is a book in it's fourth printing called "A Dictionary of Marks" edited by Margaret Macdonald-Taylor & originally published in 1962. The present publisher is Barrie & Jenkins Ltd., 20 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London, SW1V 2SA. The book's ISBN number is 0 7126 5303 1.
You can most likely obtain it through any local library. You should find the information you are seeking here.
