John, Sam Gillespie is the owner of the golf course which covers much of the area where a good part of the skirmish at Beech Creek took place. Don't have a number for him, but he's usually at or around the course. Shouldn't be too hard to contact him. He also owns some of the surrounding land. I've hunted around there a couple of times & found a few minnie balls & a plain belt plate..(Confederate I assume) but since the course was built that sort of consumed much of the huntable area & I haven't been out in a year or so.
