Hi Rick,

Good question. I found thru a 1893 plat map and my research where union forces numbering around 4500 had camped overnight in this farmers field. This location was near a stream but the stream was little more than a trickle when I went there. So I just happened to drive on down the road about 3 miles (same road they used) and found another stream, this one being much larger. Which one? I'll find out this fall. It could be at either location as the terrain was much different then as is now. HH,

Jerry
