About 6 Mo's. ago I dug a martingale with a

beveled star in the center. Have seen it

listed in a C W book, however the only other

items that I found in this area were all

Republic of Texas buttons. So what time

period is this from? Also need to know what to

use to prevent deteriation? It is flaking on

the edge. Thanks a million
