BIGFOOT owners! Take one BIG STEP forward

Hello to all,

Has anyone used a bigfoot coil on and/or around old home sights? I have a White's Spectrum and will soon be purchasing an XLT as a second detector. There is this old home site (1820's) that I have been hunting for years. However the picking are getting mighty slim and I have started searching the perimeter acreage around the home site. Though I have found a few coins and relics, there is too much land to cover with a standard 9.5 coil, and too much of a chance of missing a deep item do to the small area covered by the cone shaped signal pattern at depth. I've been thinking that the Bigfoot might be usefull in this situation, but at $200.00 I would like to hear Bigfoot owners, and how they would judge that coil in their experiences in the field.

Thank you in advance,

Dusty
