Hello,
I'm finally getting around to posting some details regarding my week in Virginia hunting for Civil War relics. Before I list my finds I want to pay special thanks to Blaine, Ron and Eric. I met these guys first here on the forum and then down in Virginia. Without their help I would have been lost and unsuccessful in Virginia. Blaine gave me some locations I counld try hunting and in the process I met Ron and Eric whom also know Blaine. This was the best vacation I have ever had. Here is a list of my finds:
(7) Dropped .58 Cal Minies
(1) Dropped Sharps Ring Tail bullet
(1) .69 Cal musket ball
(5) Buck balls
(4) Percussion caps
(1) Glass medium sized General Purpose bottle
(4) Fired Minie balls
(1) Back of a Coat button
(1) Flower button
+ Misc metal objects
Once again Blaine, Ron and Eric you guys are the best. Thanks again I hope to come down for another hunt soon maybe we can all get together. Happy Hunting.
