After braving the ice storm we had Friday, I found my first Confederate buckle in my fourteen years of relic hunting! It is a forked tongue buckle in excellent condition. Does anyone know if they are associated with a specific state? As a unique twist of fate, I believe this site was occupied by my great, great, great grandfather. I plan on returning this afternoon to see what else I can find.
