Another "what-is-it" dug during the recent January thaw. This was dug at a re-captured confederate line which subsequently became federal gunnery pits that were once laden with mini’s and associated Civil War objects until myself and a partner worked it. In keeping with my practice of not throwing away anything that at a later date could be identified as a valued relic, I am now stuck with an object that is unidentifiable. This to me to a certain extent is bothersome. The bottom is almost the exact diameter of a dime Can anyone help? Toss it or Keep It?
