There are several different kinds of 2-ringers. What kind of base did it have? If made just like a three ringer, then there are several possibilities. If it has a double looking base, then it could be a confederate Gardner. Most are listed as .577, but range from .54 to .69.
If made like a 3-ringer, then they could be any caliber.
