LPE,
The back of the button is missing except for a very small bit of metal. The shank is also missing. Would like to send a picture scan of the button. However, my West Highland White Terrier, Westley.chewed my new scanner plug in cord almost into in a couple of places. When cord is repaired will send a picture then. Thank you for your interest in trying to solve the button riddle.
