Does anyone know anything about this rifle. I know that is was issued to certain units early in the war and 4,600 were purchased and issued to volunteer troops. There were .36, .44, .56 i have been told that most were .56 cal does any one know what units these were issued to and in what numbers where they fought and how long they were used especally in the east.
