Thanks i have that book at home but i am at collage now and am tring to peice togeather some info. me and my dad are hunting a camp in meryland and are trying to id some of the units that were there so far we have id one inf unit but there were also other numerous cal and inf units that camped there though out the war. I have the Arms and equipment of the Union by Tally Press and it says that there was only speratic use but i knew that it was a widly used arm buy how many people i see finding bullets.
